Preparing for a portrait
COME
PREPARED.
A little planning makes room for a more relaxed session.
Start with the purpose.
Tell us what the portraits are for and where they’ll appear. Save a small set of references that capture the feeling, light or styling you like.
Choose wardrobe with intention.
Bring pieces you feel comfortable wearing. Check fit, steam wrinkles, and consider how colors and necklines work together. If a concept needs styling, discuss that before the session.
Plan the location.
Confirm access, timing, parking and any venue rules. Studio rental and location costs are not included unless agreed in writing.
Leave room to arrive.
Allow time for travel and preparation. Contact the studio early if your plans change. The current terms explain rescheduling and arrival policies.
You can be new at this.
You don’t have to know how to pose. Direction is part of the session. Bring your references, your questions and yourself.
This guide supports preparation; your written agreement and the studio’s current terms govern the booking.
